I’m Never Alone

Submitted in token of the most appropriate and judicious exercise of the tenets of prudence in the performance of presidential duty, achieved through wise and selfless personal discernment, for his bravery, and his ability to change our nation for the better, and his ever present and obvious will for the common good I present the likeness of: George Washington, the Revolutionary War hero, our First President. I have chosen to honor him with this post. I have seen this portrait in person. It is one of the only portraits our Founding Father sat for in his later years. I find it to be quite lifelike and vivid…and therefore more noble perhaps than the more popular portrayals seen in spectacular scenes that iconicize his displays of valor, or political standing, or other various themes. Don’t get me wrong, I like them very much as well…but not quite the same.
a. Not limited to or by established, traditional, orthodox, or authoritarian attitudes, views, or dogmas; free from bigotry.
b. Favoring proposals for reform, open to new ideas for progress, and tolerant of the ideas and behavior of others; broad-minded.
c. Of, relating to, or characteristic of liberalism.
d. Liberal Of, designating, or characteristic of a political party founded on or associated with principles of social and political liberalism, especially in Great Britain, Canada, and the United States.
a. Tending to give freely; generous: a liberal benefactor.
b. Generous in amount; ample: a liberal serving of potatoes.
3. Not strict or literal; loose or approximate: a liberal translation.
4. Of, relating to, or based on the traditional arts and sciences of a college or university curriculum: a liberal education.
authors note: I’ll interject here to note how APPRORPIATELY at the BOTTOM of the list of possible definitions these last ones are…and these are what the masters of spin (and I’m not talking about Conservatives or Republicans, though they are certainly infected hosts and transmit this rhetoric often more than not) want us “Liberals” to be viewed as…
a. Archaic Permissible or appropriate for a person of free birth; befitting a lady or gentleman.
b. Obsolete Morally unrestrained; licentious.
Those of you who now will venture back into my blog will understand that I seem most undoubtedly a liberal…but more accurately I am a true liberal, and like most decent people I have conservative social values as well. I believe that we should always be mindful of the Politics of Fear and the Politics of Division…as we’ve all seen throughout recent years, many are prone to change their party initial from R to D or D to R as they saw fit to accomplish their “idealogical evolutions” (I will now interject that I fear the blind faith expressed in that possibility…most seasoned politicians have nothing left of the idealism of their youth. Most SEEM to be concerned with how ideally they are getting paid through whatever means they can, legally, or as we’ve often seen, illegaly)…but I digress…I am not afraid to defend our country and the people and our collective right to exist with ALL of the inalienable rights that our forefathers fought and died for during the settling of this “undiscovered country.” These rights are not granted by any government. They are the granted to the People DIRECTLY through the divine will of God, no intermediary vessel need intercede…they exist eternally, sometimes being prevalent and liberally dispersed and sometimes NOT.
Freedom should never be something one culture seeks to obtain for another culture as each people, in every nation, should learn to live without fear of change…have the courage to change, and live each day of their lives as if it mattered where you were and what you did to make the world a better place for your having been in it. Freedom is something that any man, woman, or child can not possibly live without, if it be their goal. If they are without, history indicts them of that shameful decision, for the masses are indeed the power, and not the minority. If the masses allow the elite to fool them into believing that they are powerless, then the battle is won for Tyranny.
I indict both those who would seek to cunningly attempt to remove our liberty as those who are afraid to speak up about what is right and what is wrong and do their best to effect a change, in whatever measure they felt compelled to benefit the world without.
It is for the interest of our families, our countrymen, our children, and ALL the good people of the world to earnestly seek the Truth; whatever we find and believe rightly to be relevant to the cause of Truth, we must speak publically the same. We must be bold to speak and not fear the darkness without.
I pray that the voices upon high will cease their mindless chatter but for a moment to take the time to perform an honest self-appraisal and decide for themselves whose side they are on…each asking themselves the important question, “Do I work for the People…or do I work for a Government?
I’m not speaking of “serving your country”, which is just and good…not “serving your People”, which is equally laudable…let me clarify what I detest: “working for a government, to promote the interests of the government, in the sole interests of perpetuating and protecting that government.”
I could not bring myself to make the letters smaller in the word “government” because I don’t want to offend any whose sight may be a little visually impaired. A government is merely a word…it is only a collective symbol, or voice, and hopefully a wise Governor of the People who live within it. All people, throughout time, have, unwaveringly and unwittingly fallen under the notion that a group of elected (we hire them) officials can seek to completely ignore the source of their power (the People) and hold mistaken ideas that the People are ignorant or slow to wit or slow to act in their best interest. History proves this time and time again, throughout the history of various civilizations. We took a step to raise our voice to those powers in November last, but we are far from Justice, my brothers and sisters, and even with new faces we are getting the usual shell game…
For many years, this may seem to have been the case. People have proven historically to be generally content with their lot so long as they don’t perceive the evils of a blatant and insidious organism at the wheel (wheels…) of our ship…as it seems to careen towards a large iceberg. We, those conscientious enough to object, feel it to be our obligation to yell from steerage to captain’s table, “Wake up you lazy, drunken, slothful and greedy bastards…you better listen up and do your jobs or we’re all sunk.” However, it is not fitting to indict the ones who knew not of the Captain’s failure to change a course plotted for distaster, whether he committed it through a critical error, dereliction of duty, or some God forsaken venture that no decent man might wish to ever be forced to comprehend. All stories follow the same pattern, if taken by surprise in the fog, and having committed an honest mistake with pure intentions, the captain and all upon the ship suffer the cruel grips of fate together, but in good conscience. HOWEVER, if the captain’s error is known, and nothing done to rectify it…the crew doth deserve their fate as well. Or perhaps not…it surely isn’t my place to judge, is it?
In any case…the path to the truth is paved in Light. In the darkness there can be no truth, for even if it were there to be found, what would one know what it was? How might we perceive truth which is in darkness? I contend that it can not be done…nor will I accept any other substitute than the truth experienced within the full spectrum of Light…for another man’s account may mislead me as to possibly defend his charitable deeds as done in secret so as not to boast…or on the other end (how extreme) hide some DASTARDLY, CROOKED, FALSE, DECEITFUL, EVIL ACT…we know evil exists in this world…we’re ready to face it as a people…if it is there to be found we will find it and expose it. However, until the Light shines brightly upon the Truth we will never know TRUE FREEDOM for ourselves to be able to impart it to our children so that our People, Our Country, and our Liberty ever endure.
In God We Trust…Namaste…Peace Be With Us and Upon Us…
