Wisdom of Our Founding Fathers

Posted by jeremiasx on March 30, 2007

The founding fathers sound a good bit like those dissenters today who rage against the systematic abuses of liberty under which we currently labor…just listen to their thoughts on the abuses perpetrated against them by the British…they feared a coming tyranny and a CONSPIRACY of the powers upon high seeking their ultimate enslavement…not one which truly existed or was even EVIDENT at the time of the Revolutionary War. They were determined not to ALLOW things to go so far as to not be alleviated by the actions of concerned Patriots. They took decisive action and their efforts proved to be not in vain, and their suspicions of tyranny have historically been proven to be well-founded. I look back to these men for wisdom when considering the problems of the day…whatever day it may be.

Quoted from “Ideological Origins of the American Revolution”, by Bernard Bailyn, an authoritative scholarly publication which any political scientist or historian should consult heavily in any meditations upon the subject of the Founders. Bailyn received the Pulitzer Prize in 1967 for this work:

Careful analysts like Jefferson agreed on the major points; in one of the most closely reasoned of the pamphlets of 1774 the Virginian stated unambiguously that though, “single acts of tyranny may be ascribed to the accidental opinion of a day…a series of oppressions, begun at a distinguished period and pursued unalterably through every change of ministers, to plainly prove a deliberate and systematical plan of reducing us to slavery.”

So too Washington, collaborating with George Mason in writing the Fairfax Resolves of 1774, agreed that the trouble had arisen from a “regular, systematic plan” of oppression, the English government “endeavoring by every piece of art and despotism to fix the shackles of slavery upon us”; he was convinced “beyond the smallest doubt,” he wrote privately, “that these measures are the result of deliberation…I am as fully convinced as I am of my own existence that there has been a regular, systematic plan formed to enforce them.”

So the next time someone accuses you of wearing a “tin-foil hat” or of being “an alarmist” just point them back to the wisdom of Jefferson, Washington, Locke, Mayhew, or any HOST of writers from this crucial point in American history…and know that you may be in good company.

9/11 Truth Gains Mainstream Steam

Posted by jeremiasx on March 29, 2007

It’s been a long time coming, but it appears that the 9/11 Truth Movement is finally gaining more friends in the mainstream (who aren’t afraid to speak their minds when they get a forum) and I think our main sounding board is coming from quite an unusual place…The View television show with Barbara Walters and Rosie O’Donnel and a couple other women who I don’t know. Today Rosie went on a 9 minute rant about WTC 7 and some of the more glaring indiscrepencies surrounding the official 9/11 STORY. Her blog had another minute or two devoted to the same subject.

Mark Cuban, the owner of an MLB Baseball team is financing a studio version of “Loose Change” which is an interesting documentary made by a couple of kids (google it if you want to see it it’s free) who ask some pretty serious questions about holes in the story too…from the mouths of children. Charlie Sheen is set to narrate, and already the Neocon attack dogs like Bill O’Reilly are barking like crazy to try to bully and intimidate Sheen, Cuban, and others from spreading anything which questions the official government mantra: which is…that 19 radicals directed by a madman from the batcave in Afghanistan were able to systematically HOODOO the ENTIRE US DEFENSE STRUCTURE, INTELLIGENCE SECTOR, FBI, FAA, NORAD, and the COMMANDERS IN CHIEF (bush and cheney) for OVER TWO HOURS…(if you believe that BULLSHIT, then here’s a tin-foil hat…you need one.) I’ve never claimed to know the EXACT who, what, where, when and why…but I have some pretty good ideas…and LOTS of questions. So should anyone who takes an honest look at the whole stinking deal.

I personally do not care who is repeating our talking points on the air…I’m not a Rosie O’Donnel fan…I’m not even much of a “typical liberal” really…I just hope that people will listen and THINK about things because there is a great deal to think about, and questions that are long overdue for being answered honestly and investigated more thoroughly. I submit these earlier posts from my blog for your consideration.

A Call for a New 9/11 Investigation (Long Overdue)
Questions Remain On WTC 7 – SERIOUS QUESTIONS
9/11 Victims’ Families Press For Truth – Movie

PLEASE discuss the events of 9/11 with your friends and your family…I know it’s hard, and no one likes to open a can of worms because it’s tough when people accuse you of being a “loony” or a “conspiracy nut” but we need to honestly discuss the disparities between the obvious evidence and what was presented by the 9/11 commission…the obvious and disconcerting actions of government officials DURING AND AFTER that day…especially in regards to their refusal to answer questions under oath, with a transcript, or even allowing NOTES to be taken…there is something SERIOUSLY WRONG with that approach to transparency…in fact, it’s UTTER SECRECY and the American people deserve the truth. We are grown enough to handle it and understand it. We are also prepared to prosecute all the parties involved, not just the convenient ones that we don’t know and won’t ever need to know. We must make a stand…for the sake of truth, for the sake of national integrity, and for the sake of all the dead. They deserve the truth to be told as well. God give us the strength and the wisdom to discern the truth.

PS: Call or write your senator AND congressman TODAY and DEMAND a new inquiry be made into 9/11…fully independent and fully funded. I’ve written my Arkansas representatives and senators and asked the same, more than once. Perhaps if they get a mountain of constituent mail/email they will take us seriously. Leave no stone unturned, accept no substitutes, and never rest until we get it.

Mideast Crisis Deepens

Posted by jeremiasx on March 28, 2007

battleofarmageddon.jpg

These stories all point to a troubling conclusion…the oil magnates must be grinning from ear to ear by now…look for oil to be up to the $80 mark soon…and gas at the pump will be back over $3 soon (or MORE)…why do those who just can’t seem to wait to see Armageddon unfold for whatever reason actually have the reins of power in our country? (Refer back to my earlier post of Ryan Dawsons expose on the PNAC players for more info.)
MOSCOW, March 27 (RIA Novosti) – Russian military intelligence services are reporting a flurry of activity by U.S. Armed Forces near Iran’s borders, a high-ranking security source said Tuesday.

“The latest military intelligence data point to heightened U.S. military preparations for both an air and ground operation against Iran,” the official said, adding that the Pentagon has probably not yet made a final decision as to when an attack will be launched.

He said the Pentagon is looking for a way to deliver a strike against Iran “that would enable the Americans to bring the country to its knees at minimal cost.”

He also said the U.S. Naval presence in the Persian Gulf has for the first time in the past four years reached the level that existed shortly before the invasion of Iraq in March 2003.

The White House Wednesday denied ratching up tension with Iran with increased military exercises in the Gulf region, but stressed US support for Britain as Iran holds 15 of its sailors. “These military exercises were long planned and so there is no escalation of tension on our part,” spokeswoman Dana Perino said.

“Now, we do stand with our British allies and stand behind Tony Blair as he works to get these 15 soldiers back from the Iranians,” she said.

On Tuesday, the Pentagon said the unusual exercise involving two US aircraft carrier strike groups in the Gulf is aimed at reassuring friends and allies, not raising tensions with Iran.

“We are not interested in confrontation in the Gulf,” said Pentagon spokesman Bryan Whitman.

Ok…uh…not interested in confrontation in the Gulf? Quoi? I thought that’s what we’ve been focused on since Bush swore in…

RIYADH (AFP) – Saudi King Abdullah, whose country is a close US ally, on Wednesday slammed the “illegitimate foreign occupation of Iraq” in a meeting with foreign Arab ministers in Riyadh.
“In beloved Iraq, blood is being shed among brothers in the shadow of an illegitimate foreign occupation, and ugly sectarianism threatens civil war,” Abdullah said.

He also said that Arab nations, which are planning to revive a five-year-old Middle East peace plan at the summit, would not allow any foreign force to decide the future of the region.

So now the Saudis DON’T want us meddling in Gulf affairs…why the sudden switch? I thought we were “good buddies.” This is all starting to be like watching a BAD movie…let’s change the channel, folks…somehow, some way…we’ve got to.

Bush’s Atrocities Enumerated

Posted by jeremiasx on March 18, 2007

In my history of following political scandals and interesting wrongdoings by various administrations I have never found a modern government which was as wantonly rife with corruption and despotism as the current administration. I have a hard time figuring out why exactly people voted for Bush in the first place, and an even harder time wondering why some THIRTY PERCENT of Americans actually bring themselves to say that they approve of the administrations performance overall. Where do these people live? What are they smoking? I think they get better stuff than I do…they must.

Here is a list of the current scandals which effectively still swirl around the Bush-Cheney team…not in any particular order, and not necessarily all crimes (normally) but they all certainly seem to ring true as serious diversions from upright political behavior. Some of them are merely guilt by association, but hey, that’s the same standard we have applied to so-called “enemy combatants” in Gitmo, and I think Bush deserves to be scrutinized with roughly the same “Justice” as he has seen fit to mete out to others…so here goes.

1. Stealing two elections…the first one through the cunning use of the SCOTUS, political influence in his brother’s state, and outright vote theft perpetrated by using Diebold machines to flop Ohio vote counts. The second one…by using Diebold again, and also running against his cousin and fellow Skull and Bones member John Kerry didn’t hurt his chances of re-election much either..

2. Imposing “No Child Left Behind” as a policy for supposedly bettering education systems nationwide, under funding it, and then putting the entire burden on the states without allowing them time to sift through the legal nightmares which any sane person would have assumed to have come from this juggernaut legislation.

3. Being warned that Osama Bin Laden was out of control, planning attacks against America, specifically being warned of impending attacks, and doing nothing to prevent them.

4. Participation in 9/11 through at the very LEAST gross neglect of duty and circumvention of common sense in responding to the attacks, though we’d like to see the whole situation thoroughly re-investigated to find out just how culpable the higher administration officials most likely are. The author thinks they’re guilty in more than one way, but time will be the judge on this one.

5. Capitalizing on the tragedy of 9/11 to usher through highly unconstitutional legislation known as the USA PATRIOT act…and creating another larger than life bureaucracy, the Department of Homeland Security instead of streamlining and coordinating existing government efforts to enforce all the laws we already had on the books for fighting terrorism.

6. Seeking to actively prevent a thorough investigation into 9/11 and delaying it for years after the event, thereby possibly allowing the ravages of time and the idiocy of men to obscure all the facts surrounding this highly needed accountability and fact-finding investigation concerning the largest mass murder in U.S. History…and only funding it with a fraction of what was spent by NASA to investigate the explosion of a space shuttle…a fraction of what was spent to investigate Bill Clinton’s blowjob…a fraction of what was spent in all on the OJ trial, for God’s sakes…I’ll get off it now, but this seriously pisses me off.

7. Lying to the American people about the reasons for invading Iraq.

8. Invading the sovereign country of Iraq in violation of the Geneva Conventions of War, of which the United States is a founding signatory. In the context of history, this is an ultimate irony because the first convention dealt with wars of aggression against nations…which is what we did to Iraq, and what we condemned the NAZIS for doing in Poland in 1939.

9. Violating the basic human rights of enemy POWs in Iraq at Abu Ghraib by putting out vague memos which seemed to justify extreme methods of interrogation and torture.

10. Violating the basic human rights of “enemy combatants” (who are actually POWs but the Bush regime refuses to acknowledge them as such because they didn’t have uniforms on) and torturing them, holding them for years without a military tribunal to determine their status as detainees, and denying actual U.S. citizens the right to habeas corpus, even though there is no insurrection or rebellion at present.

11. Circumventing existing FISA laws regarding domestic wiretapping, lying to Congress through subordinates about the actual application of the wiretaps, and the claim that the administration wasn’t seeking to circumvent FISA even though they obviously did by having the NSA put the taps on without a court order, and thereby violating the Fourth Amendment right to freedom from unreasonable search and seizure.

12. Stacking the judiciary mid-term with loyal political hench who would do the bidding of the Bush administration when and how they were told…firing competent US Prosecutors, and then besmirching their names and careers by claiming they were fired for performance reasons, when they were obviously doing their jobs just fine…and had received multiple awards in recent memory, some of them…

I guess that’s the dirty dozen of Bush’s screw-ups…I won’t bother with Plame-gate and others that keep popping up…these have all been proven beyond a reasonable doubt…and that’s the Reader’s Digest version…I plan to update this post from time to time and keep you all clued in as to the progress on each of these horrid offenses. I hope that accountability might be restored to the American Government, and that we might thereby rest a little easier at night knowing that the Captain isn’t hell-bent on a collision course with an iceberg while we sleep. These guys have to go, folks…they’re going to destroy our country.

IMPEACH BUSH. IMPEACH CHENEY. IMPEACH EVERY S.O.B. IN WASHINGTON DC WHO THINKS THEY ARE ABOVE THE LAW…WHEN WILL SOMEONE GET THE BALLS TO SAY IT IN CONGRESS? DO YOUR JOBS SO WE DON’T HAVE PURSUE OTHER AVENUES FOR JUSTICE.

Dan Rather Calls For Spinal Transplants

During his hour-long keynote address at South by Southwest Interactive, Rather opined at length on the state of his profession, in which too many journalists have become lapdogs to power, rather than watchdogs.

“I do not exclude myself from this criticism… By and large, so many journalists–there are notable exceptions–have adopted the go-along-to-get-along (attitude),” he said.

So, because of this “access game,” journalism has degenerated into a “very perilous state,” he said in response to a question from his on-stage interviewer, FireDogLake.com writer Jane Hamsher.

Woah…slow down Dan Rather…don’t let the cat out of the bag just yet! Many Americans mistakenly believe that the media does it’s job…don’t get them all alert to the truth of the matter which is that the majority of journalists are PUSSIES WITH PRESS PASSES who are hoping to appease their corporate masters, shamelessly inflate their egos and bank accounts, and have no intention of telling the American people the truth! How dare you, Dan Rather? ALERT TED KOPPEL!!!!

Modern Writs of Assistance and the PATRIOT ACT

Posted by jeremiasx on March 13, 2007

Unreasonable search and seizure by British authorities was one of the main complaints from the colonials in the time leading up to the American Revolution. This should be carefully considered by all patriotic Americans in regards to the recent abuses of the U.S. Government in its application of broad and sweeping powers granted by the USA PATRIOT Acts I and what was proposed in PATRIOT ACT II…

First, let’s discuss one of the issues that had the Founding Fathers up in arms…writs of assistance used by the British against any regular, law-abiding citizen to search their property upon mere suspicion and without specifying WHAT they were looking for.

Is this not the very SAME power that has been granted to domestic “counter-terror” investigators in the FBI, NSA, and CIA? Basically they are allowed to enter your abode, your domicile, your HOME…and without your knowledge they are allowed to search for UNSPECIFIED material evidence in an attempt to link U.S. citizens to various terrorist organizations. This is a power which needs to be checked because it has OBVIOUSLY been used in means contradictory to the intent of the PATRIOT ACT, without sufficient oversight and often in abusive measures which have not been seen on our continent since the days of the American Revolution.

Next we have the NSA domestic wiretapping issue…this is not a partisan or political complaint I’m making…regardless of any previous executive who ALSO used this ability in contradiction of the obvious intent of the 4th amendment…this administration has used it, continues to use it, and continues to claim it as a constitutional power granted to the Executive Branch in a “time of war” due to the “War on Terror” which is an indefinite war against unspecified enemies. This is a ludicrous stretch of constitutional interpretation of presidential power, regardless of one’s party affiliation, any honest person must agree.

True conservatives, who seek to protect our CONSTITIONAL RIGHTS, should stand up to George W. Bush and his NEOCON administration to voice their concerns and call for an immediate reversal of these policy trends which are eroding our civil liberties. How can we, in good faith, remain quiet and allow our freedoms to be stripped away by those who PRETEND conservatism while practicing policies which are inherently UNAMERICAN and undermining the body of laws and principles upon which our great nation was founded?

Let us consider the source of a great man whom John Adams bestowed this compliment,

I have been old and now I am dead, and I solemnly say I have never known a man whose love of country was more ardent or sincere, never one who suffered so much, never one whose service for any 10 years of his life were so important and essential to the cause of his country as those of Mr. Otis from 1760 to 1770.

Here is an excerpt from “Against the Writs of Assistance” an argument eloquently put forth by a Mr. James Otis, on February 24th, 1761:

Your Honors will find in the old books concerning the office of a justice of the peace precedents of general warrants to search suspected houses. But in more modern books you will find only special warrants to search such and such houses, specially named, in which the complainant has before sworn that he suspects his goods are concealed; and will find it adjudged that special warrants only are legal. In the same manner I rely on it, that the writ prayed for in this petition, being general, is illegal. It is a power that places the liberty of every man in the hands of every petty officer. I say I admit that special Writs of Assistance, to search special places, may be granted to certain persons on oath; but I deny that the writ now prayed for can be granted, for I beg leave to make some observations on the writ itself, before I proceed to other Acts of Parliament.

In the first place, the writ is universal, being directed “to all and singular justices, sheriffs, constables, and all other officers and subjects”; so that, in short, it is directed to every subject in the King’s dominions. Every one with this writ may be a tyrant; if this commission be legal, a tyrant in a legal manner, also, may control, imprison, or murder any one within the realm. In the next place, it is perpetual; there is no return. A man is accountable to no person for his doings. Every man may reign secure in his petty tyranny, and spread terror and desolation around him, until the trump of the Archangel shall excite different emotions in his soul. In the third place, a person with this writ, in the daytime, may enter all houses, shops, etc., at will, and command all to assist him. Fourthly, by this writ not only deputies, etc., but even their menial servants, are allowed to lord it over us. What is this but to have the curse of Canaan with a witness on us: to be the servants of servants, the most despicable of God’s creation?

Now, one of the most essential branches of English liberty is the freedom of one’s house. A man’s house is his castle; and whilst he is quiet, he is as well guarded as a prince in his castle. This writ, if it should be declared legal, would totally annihilate this privilege. Custom-house officers may enter our houses when they please; we are commanded to permit their entry. Their menial servants may enter, may break locks, bars, and everything in their way; and whether they break through malice or revenge, no man, no court can inquire. Bare suspicion without oath is sufficient.

The extrapolation and interpretation of this SAME argument, in a modern context concerning the application of the numerous new police powers granted by the current administration to all law enforcement officials, through the USA PATRIOT Acts Part 1 and 2, are EXACTLY the same as the “general warrants upon suspicion” which the Founding Fathers saw as a PRIME CAUSE for revolution and overthrow of the government. Have we come so far, have we been so paralyzed by the use of the “Terrorism” word that we will completely relinquish our BASIC CIVIL LIBERTIES?

Can we assume that today, as in the time of the Revolution, that the authorities are apt to display PRUDENCE in the use of these unduly granted powers? Of course not, this VERY day Department of Justice officials are having to answer for their blatant abuse of these general warrants in regards to the confiscation of business records, unauthorized wiretaps, and undue surveillance upon many and various innocent, honest American citizens.

I’m all for implementing laws that can be used to fight terrorism…we already HAD them. We’ve ALWAYS had them. How difficult would it have been for the FBI and other counter-terrorist agencies within the federal government to use EXISTING FISA and other applicable laws to prevent 9/11 or any other terrorist incidents??? Think about it.

Saddam and 9/11 Revisited

Posted by jeremiasx on March 2, 2007

Why was the President convinced of Iraq’s “involvement” in the 9/11 WTC attacks as early as the day of 9/11? I suppose one might question his intense interest BEFORE that day concerning ways to go to war against Iraq as well…

“From the very beginning, there was a conviction that Saddam Hussein was a bad person and that he needed to go,” O’Neill told CBS, according to excerpts released Saturday by the network. “For me, the notion of pre-emption, that the U.S. has the unilateral right to do whatever we decide to do, is a really huge leap.” – John O’Neill

Suskind said O’Neill and other White House insiders gave him documents showing that in early 2001 the administration was already considering the use of force to oust Saddam, as well as planning for the aftermath.

“There are memos,” Suskind told the network. “One of them marked ‘secret’ says ‘Plan for Post-Saddam Iraq.'”

Suskind cited a Pentagon document titled “Foreign Suitors For Iraqi Oilfield Contracts,” which, he said, outlines areas of oil exploration. “It talks about contractors around the world from … 30, 40 countries and which ones have what intentions on oil in Iraq.”

Was 9/11 a springboard from which to launch the all-out war on Iraq? You better BELIEVE IT.

Let’s look at the President’s response to 9/11…the immediate one. From the 9/11 Commission Report:

‘President Bush had wondered immediately after the attack whether Saddam Hussein’s regime might have had a hand in it. Iraq had been an enemy of the United States for 11 years, and was the only place in the world where the United States was engaged in ongoing combat operations. As a former pilot, the President was struck by the apparent sophistication of the operation and some of the piloting, especially Hanjour’s high-speed dive into the Pentagon. He told us he recalled Iraqi support for Palestinian suicide terrorists as well. Speculating about other possible states that could be involved, the President told us he also thought about Iran.

Clarke has written that on the evening of September 12, President Bush told him and some of his staff to explore possible Iraqi links to 9/11, “See if Saddam did this,” Clarke recalls the President telling them. “See if he’s linked in any way.” While he believed the details of Clarke’s account to be incorrect, Bush acknowledged that he might well have spoken to Clarke at some point, asking him about Iraq.’

(9/11 Report, Section 10.3 Phase Two and the Question of Iraq, page 351)

Next, we see how he spoke to the country in his now infamous State of the Union address in 2003…John Dean, the former counsel to Richard Nixon who came forward back in the Watergate Scandal that led to Nixon’s impeachment and resignation, has called these following words an ample body of evidence full of deceptions which are far more worthy of impeachment and removal from office than anything Nixon had ever even DREAMED of lying about.

“Twelve years ago, Saddam Hussein faced the prospect of being the last casualty in a war he had started and lost. To spare himself, he agreed to disarm of all weapons of mass destruction. For the next 12 years, he systematically violated that agreement. He pursued chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons, even while inspectors were in his country. Nothing to date has restrained him from his pursuit of these weapons — not economic sanctions, not isolation from the civilized world, not even cruise missile strikes on his military facilities.

Almost three months ago, the United Nations Security Council gave Saddam Hussein his final chance to disarm. He has shown instead utter contempt for the United Nations, and for the opinion of the world. The 108 U.N. inspectors were sent to conduct — were not sent to conduct a scavenger hunt for hidden materials across a country the size of California. The job of the inspectors is to verify that Iraq’s regime is disarming. It is up to Iraq to show exactly where it is hiding its banned weapons, lay those weapons out for the world to see, and destroy them as directed. Nothing like this has happened.

The United Nations concluded in 1999 that Saddam Hussein had biological weapons sufficient to produce over 25,000 liters of anthrax — enough doses to kill several million people. He hasn’t accounted for that material. He’s given no evidence that he has destroyed it.

The United Nations concluded that Saddam Hussein had materials sufficient to produce more than 38,000 liters of botulinum toxin — enough to subject millions of people to death by respiratory failure. He hadn’t accounted for that material. He’s given no evidence that he has destroyed it.

Our intelligence officials estimate that Saddam Hussein had the materials to produce as much as 500 tons of sarin, mustard and VX nerve agent. In such quantities, these chemical agents could also kill untold thousands. He’s not accounted for these materials. He has given no evidence that he has destroyed them.

U.S. intelligence indicates that Saddam Hussein had upwards of 30,000 munitions capable of delivering chemical agents. Inspectors recently turned up 16 of them — despite Iraq’s recent declaration denying their existence. Saddam Hussein has not accounted for the remaining 29,984 of these prohibited munitions. He’s given no evidence that he has destroyed them.

From three Iraqi defectors we know that Iraq, in the late 1990s, had several mobile biological weapons labs. These are designed to produce germ warfare agents, and can be moved from place to a place to evade inspectors. Saddam Hussein has not disclosed these facilities. He’s given no evidence that he has destroyed them.

The International Atomic Energy Agency confirmed in the 1990s that Saddam Hussein had an advanced nuclear weapons development program, had a design for a nuclear weapon and was working on five different methods of enriching uranium for a bomb. The British government has learned that Saddam Hussein recently sought significant quantities of uranium from Africa. Our intelligence sources tell us that he has attempted to purchase high-strength aluminum tubes suitable for nuclear weapons production. Saddam Hussein has not credibly explained these activities. He clearly has much to hide.

The dictator of Iraq is not disarming. To the contrary; he is deceiving. From intelligence sources we know, for instance, that thousands of Iraqi security personnel are at work hiding documents and materials from the U.N. inspectors, sanitizing inspection sites and monitoring the inspectors themselves. Iraqi officials accompany the inspectors in order to intimidate witnesses.

Iraq is blocking U-2 surveillance flights requested by the United Nations. Iraqi intelligence officers are posing as the scientists inspectors are supposed to interview. Real scientists have been coached by Iraqi officials on what to say. Intelligence sources indicate that Saddam Hussein has ordered that scientists who cooperate with U.N. inspectors in disarming Iraq will be killed, along with their families.

Year after year, Saddam Hussein has gone to elaborate lengths, spent enormous sums, taken great risks to build and keep weapons of mass destruction. But why? The only possible explanation, the only possible use he could have for those weapons, is to dominate, intimidate, or attack.

With nuclear arms or a full arsenal of chemical and biological weapons, Saddam Hussein could resume his ambitions of conquest in the Middle East and create deadly havoc in that region. And this Congress and the America people must recognize another threat. Evidence from intelligence sources, secret communications, and statements by people now in custody reveal that Saddam Hussein aids and protects terrorists, including members of al Qaeda. Secretly, and without fingerprints, he could provide one of his hidden weapons to terrorists, or help them develop their own.

Before September the 11th, many in the world believed that Saddam Hussein could be contained. But chemical agents, lethal viruses and shadowy terrorist networks are not easily contained. Imagine those 19 hijackers with other weapons and other plans — this time armed by Saddam Hussein. It would take one vial, one canister, one crate slipped into this country to bring a day of horror like none we have ever known. We will do everything in our power to make sure that that day never comes. (Applause.) “

FULL 2003 State of the Union Address

Notice the final paragraph in which he makes the direct connection from Saddam Hussein to the incidents of 9/11…as a scare tactic to prod the American public into believing that there was ANY involvement between the two…regardless of the fact that Bin Laden had at one point declared Hussein “a Godless infidel” and that Hussein had pursued Al Qaeda within his own country because he did not care for religious extremism…remember, he was a Sunni Baathist, a party that promoted secular government yet tended to exploit religion from time to time…yet hardly jihadists.

SO…is there evidence that 9/11 was used as a springboard into Iraq, and also PROBABLY Iran…you bet your bottom dollar.
