Commentary: Ed Brown Press Conference

Posted by jeremiasx on June 18, 2007

The standoff in Plainfield, New Hampshire between multiple law enforcement agencies and Ed Brown has stretched out for several weeks now. The story which has been widely unseen by the majority of Americans but could possibly shift into the mainstream media focus after today’s scheduled press conference with the Browns at their residence.

During the press conference Ed tended to ramble and drift time and time again to the whole Masonic conspiracy lunacy, which is always a turnoff personally because I know personally that it’s 100% bullshit and a red herring which is used to confuse conspiracy kooks and distract them from the real bad guys. Thankfully his wife seemed much more composed and other supporters had more substantive offerings for the media, Randy Weaver in particular, who brought the human element of the story to the forefront with his recounting the needless death of his family members at the hands of overzealous government agents.

Many of you probably at least distantly remember the story of Randy Weaver, the man whose wife, son, and dog were shot in a standoff up in Ruby Ridge, Idaho some years back. I recall hearing many different opinions at the time in consideration of whether appropriate force was used in that situation. I seem to also recall being gripped by the chilling callousness of those who believed that the authorities were de facto justified of using any means possible to apprehend Mr. Weaver regardless of any other circumstances. The fact that an FBI sniper shot his wife in the face while holding her child was enough to clench it for me. The government obviously overstepped all boundaries of ethics, morality, and reason when they did that. So…Randy Weaver has joined the Browns, understandably, to try to prevent a repeat of the same level of violence that happened to his own family.

The question that Ed Brown has posed to the government is a simple one…”show me the inherent law requiring me to pay income tax on my wages” but the arguments on both sides are complex and convincing. The Constitution originally prohibited any direct tax which was not equally apportioned between the states, yet the 16th Amendment grants the power to tax income, from whatever source derived. Some who are against the tax argue that the definition of terms is too vague, especially when considering whether a person’s labor wages can be technically construed as income as opposed to the traditional consideration of income as gain or profit, and if so, how exactly defined or measured? The IRS counters with thousands of pages of annotated code, a virtual mountain of indexes, appendices, and mind numbing vagary which was written after the amendment passed and has been developed over the last century, largely without input from the people who are affected by the tax code.

Ed and his supporters believe that on a basic level that they, and all Americans, are victims of a racketeering and extortion scheme which is run at the behest of the Federal Reserve Bank, which is but one arm of the many headed International Banks, all of which are privately owned (by Freemasons by Ed’s reckoning) and are run for profit at the expense of the American taxpayers. That’s really not that difficult to believe, if you break down the system to a very simplistic one in which:

The federal government needs money to support itself, and therefore borrows money from a private bank, the Federal Reserve, which is not federal in any fashion and has no known reserves to speak of and if they do…they ain’t sayin. That much is fact, the next is conjecture.

  1. The Federal Reserve is an arm of the International Bankers, who have a tendency to wage wars upon those who don’t allow them to control the money supply. For further research, look up the history of the Rothschilds and the War of 1812.
  2. Being indebted to the Federal Reserve and somehow unable to make it off of the numerous other use taxes and indirect taxes and unable to reign in its spending to the level of self-sufficiency, the government decided to put the question before the impoverished and uneducated masses of the early 1900s…the birth of the 16th amendment. There was no sunset clause and to this day we are taxed upon our labor and every other gain or fortune we typically encounter in life. Those of us born since that time have had no say in the matter, and any effort to question its basic Constitutionality has been suppressed by the IRS to the extent of imposing additional legal penalties if you try to “outsmart them in court.”
  3. The government believes strongly enough to kill to prove they are right. So does Ed Brown.

Yes, Ed Brown and his supporters are perfectly willing to kill or die in the defense of their ideals, however crazy they might seem to the rest of us who are far happier apparently for quietly allowing and assisting the government in picking our pockets by nearly a third of every dollar earned to pay off a debt to a foreign controlled central bank to pay for all the WONDERFUL things that the government supposedly needs our money for.

The one thing that stands out to me is that in the usual enforcement of laws and court edicts, such as the one to incarcerate Ed Brown, there is not usually an overly dramatic pause for the media to carry the story before going in, unless the “Cops” crew is embedded. In three cases I can think of right off hand, they have waited for the nation to take interest before acting…Ruby Ridge, Waco, and now Ed Brown. It makes me wonder if sometimes the government doesn’t LIKE to look like the bad guy just to keep the little people trembling. Scared yet?

To refer to Ed Brown a drifting into masonic lunacy is nothing other than an incredible disservice to the cause that these people are fighting for! They are standing up for the rights of all Americans not just themselves. Everything they say is true and anyone who doubts this should really take the time to seriously look into it. The well being of every American is in danger. Take the time to educate yourselves because the media no longer supports the truth.

Mindo: Nope…to claim that Ed Brown was drifting into some lunatic anti-Masonic rant was just commentary…not speculation. He did it…and there is no good reason for it. The Freemasons are a “straw man” for conspiracy theorists and I get tired of the constant attempts to put them at the forefront of every problem that comes before the American people by Ed Brown or anyone else who falls for that bullshit.

I agree with Ed Brown’s cause in principle, but I think his comments about Freemasons are out of line and completely unfounded…and I’ll tell you why.
I am a mason, and have been for years, and there is no worldwide conspiracy or even agenda that the fraternity has other than trying to help men become better citizens and helping the world become a better place through charitable efforts. The masons have no political agenda, and no religious agenda, and they never have…other than the infamous P2 lodge in Italy, which was in fact disbanded. When congregated together for the purpose of masonry, I have NEVER heard of any agenda and to be honest I don’t know whether most of my lodge brothers are Republican, Democrat, Independent, or any other affiliation…because we don’t talk about it. So the theory that we have some large socio-economic political agenda makes absolutely NO SENSE. Let it go.

    Anyhow, that’s the rub.

I care not to speculate on your rank within the the freemason organization or how much you actually know about this agenda in which you claim doesn’t exist. I do not care to argue my personal beliefs on the agenda of the New World Order. Instead I would rather share some quotes directly from high level masons.

“Every Masonic Lodge is a temple of religion; and its teachings are instruction in religion.”
    Morals and Dogma, p.213

We shall unleash the Nihilists and Atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effects of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will be from that moment without compass, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view, a manifestation which will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time.

Fictions are necessary to the people, and the Truth becomes deadly to those who are not strong enough to contemplate it in all its brilliance. In fact, what can there be in common between the vile multitude and sublime wisdom? The truth must be kept secret, and the masses need a teaching proportioned to their imperfect reason.

THE SUPREME COUNCIL of the ThirtyThird and Last Degree

“Masonry, like all the Religions, all the Mysteries, Hermeticism and Alchemy, conceals its secrets from all except the Adepts and Sages, or the Elect, and uses false explanations and misinterpretations of its symbols to mislead those who deserve only to be misled, to conceal the truth, which it calls Light, from them, and to draw them away from it. Truth is not for those who are unworthy or unable to receive it, or would pervert it.” Albert Pike

“The great strength of our Order lies in its concealment: let it never appear in any place in its own name, but always covered by another name, and another occupation. None is fitter than the three lower degrees of Free Masonry; the public is accustomed to it, expect little from it, and therefore takes little notice of it. Next to this, the form of a learned or literary society is best suited to our purpose, and had Free Masonry not existed, this cover would have been employed; and it may be much more than a cover, it may be a powerful engine in our hands. By establishing reading societies, and subscription libraries… we may turn the public mind which way we will. In like manner we must try to obtain an influence in… all offices which have any effect, either in forming, or in managing, or even in directing the mind of man.”
    – John Robison in “Proofs of Conspiracy”, relaying the words of Adam Weishaupt (founder of the modern Illuminati & Rothschild puppet) on the need to hide Illuminati goals inside Freemasonry’s “Outer Order” of those unknowledgeable of the elite plan for a One World Government

And the list goes on and on. Not to mention that W and daddy bush are both masons. So if you really think that there is nothing going on worth mentioning to the public you either need to open your eyes to the truth or at least quit lying to the people who do care to about our country, our freedom and our future. I am in no way assuming that all masons are evil, only the ones at the top of the pyramid.
Look at the actions of the ones in charge, do a little research and decide for yourself. Thanks for your time

So I guess its not hard to figure where you stand. Is this happiness you feel from quietly selling out worth losing it all in the end?

  7. mindo said

Guessing by your reaction to delete my comments you do in fact have something to hide. You are the embedded mouthpiece for the masons I figure. Why can’t we have an unbiased opinion for once in the media? Have you all been bought off?

Mindo: Your obsession with anti-masonry is quite evident.

George HW Bush MAY have been a mason but has no current standing of note. CHIMPY IS NOT A MASON. I can’t picture ANY self-respecting lodge allowing him membership due to legalities which he himself is responsible for screwing up. (His DWI for one would probably keep him out…)

This discussion and blog was meant to be about Ed Brown, but since you and Ed are so convinced of the evils of freemasonry, let help you correct these…since you have a wealth of secondhand misinformation at your disposal.

Here is the quote which is NOT EVEN BY ALBERT PIKE…it’s attributed by Albert Pike to Synesius, whom Albert claims to be of DOUBTFUL ORTHODOXY…directly from Morals and Dogma, page 103 (which you referred to earlier)

Synesius, Bishop of Ptolemaïs, a great Kabalist, but of doubtful orthodoxy, wrote:

“The people will always mock at things easy to be misunderstood; it must needs have impostures.”

“A Spirit,” he said, “that loves wisdom and contemplates the Truth close at hand, is forced to disguise it, to induce the multitudes to accept it. . . . Fictions are necessary to the people, and the Truth becomes deadly to those who are not strong enough to contemplate it in all its brilliance. If the sacerdotal laws allowed the reservation of judgments and the allegory of words, I would accept the proposed dignity on condition that I might be a philosopher at home, and abroad a narrator of apologues and parables

In fact, what can there be in common between the vile multitude and sublime wisdom? The truth must be kept secret, and the masses need a teaching proportioned to their imperfect reason.”

Albert Pike’s supposed letter…I have found no evidence of this even being a REAL document after searching for it exhaustively…other than on anti-Masonic websites. PLEASE stop believing everything you read on the INTERNET without doing you OWN RESEARCH FIRST.

As far as my position within Masonry is concerned, I was the Senior Deacon at my home lodge, a 32nd in Scottish Rite, and a member of the Commandery of the Order of Knights Templar. I know a wee bit about what I’m talking about, sir.

The Masons were (as members, not as an organization) highly involved in the American Revolution, were banned by Nazi Germany because Hitler feared them, and had a small political party formed against them here in our own country in the 1800s due to religious zealotry…it seems that some things never change.

By the way…I never deleted your comments either…you’re just impatient. Good day.

SO…for future reference…let’s keep it on the actual subject. Death and taxes.

By the way, I’m not in the mainstream media. I’m a blogger. I appreciate the assumption, though. If you want to see how the mainstream media treats Ed Brown, look to the reports out today on Ed Brown over at CNN or Faux News. Go rant at them if you’re angry.

I do appreciate your time and input. Like I said I am not anti anything, except corruption. I think quietly in mind/heart of us all we know that there is something wrong with the way things are going. I know that I can see and feel around me everyday. The people behind our corrupt governmet, the Federal Reserve, and practically all the other oppressive and destructive shit going on around us all belong to some kind secret group who are not interested in our best interests what so ever. So unless we want to end up in a Orwellian police state, micro-chipped, and completely under the control of the new world order, we all need to band together and realize the the truth of what is going on and what it really means to exist peacefully as a human being for once. It has been a really long time since we have had truth in our government, if ever. The time is now!

Did you know that we a taxed a billion dollars a day and this money goes directly into the pockets of the owners of the privately owned Federal Reserve. I don’t know about everyone else but I could think of many more productive ways to use this money. If we don’t give it to them, we get to keep it for our ourselves, our families, our own well being.

    Thanks again for your time
    Good Day

Hey folks, how about a different approach? First, paraphrasing Justice Cardozo; “codes are basically restatements”. In effect, that means that all the history of a certain body of law that resides in a code and thus, has no reason to explain itself in philosophical or legal terms. That includes the Internal Revenue Code (IRC). Again, you will never find where anyone is liable to pay taxes in the IRC because the code is only a digest of already accepted law. If you want to understand how the IRC evolved you have to understantd the concept of contract–including that folding stuff you have in your wallet. That’s right. The good old Federal Reserve Note, regardless of denomination, is an adhesion contract–one that is, among other things, backed by constitutional edict, commercial paper and tax treaties with other nations. Third, by the mere use of using the damn thing puts one under obligations found under another legal concept known as “assumpsit”; meaning roughly, “he agreed to undertake”. It’s an age old legalism that recognizes that a person can enter into an agreement with parties unknown without signing ones name or expressly acknowledging the fact that one has committed oneself to the agreement. That is one of the reasons the courts have held that paying taxes is “voluntary”. Simply put, you use the money–you volunter. Fourth, the income that the courts look to is “accountable income”, meaning an accrual one gets from an exchange based upon a specific value of “realization”. Using Eisner v Macomber the court mumbled it’s way through the classic hype shuck jive ass bull. If it just described the realization principle in the beginning it would have save everybody a good deal of time. Realization is simply conversion of a value. For example, has anyone above ever exchanged frequent flyer miles for cash? or to upgrade a third class ticket for a first class one? If you have, you have experienced an increase of wealth. And all of this wealth is based upon the “first obligation of the United States”–that nasty old Federal Reserve Note. It’s value may go up and down, but in any sense of transactions–it is still a contract–and all contracts are money. Thus, it falls within the edict that “Congress can coin and regulate the value thereof”
Does any of this help anyone?

The 16th amendment is not nessesary for income tax. The 13th & 14th ammendments authorize congress to enforce those ammendments thru “appropriate” legislation. This leaves an open door for Congress to do as it pleases to those people who claim “civil priviledeges” under the 14th amendment and canot prove themselves Posterity and due all the Inalienable rights under the Bill of Rights that preceded the 14th amendment. Social Security is a voluntary program, but once someone sets themselves up with a number, they no longer have the right to querstion the Constituitionality of that law in court because they are benificiaries of that law and must accept all regulations that come with it. IRS taxes are such regulations. There is NO law requiring a Social Security Number for Posterity. Social Security falls under Title 42 USC. Subsection 666, 13, A of that Title requires The states to tie SS numbers to drivers licence, marriage license, and virtually all state licenses.
